You don't see many veteran starting corner for veteran starting corner trades, but this off-season has been full of unorthodox types of trades. Off the bat, people might say that the Cardinals got the better end of the deal. Glaus has maintained his power over the past three seasons, is a bit younger, and will provide the Cardinals with a third baseman for the next two seasons (I'm banking on the fact that the Cardinals will convince Glaus to exercise his 2009 option). But there are a few things about Glaus which might not make the trade such a good one for the Cardinals.
Also, the fantasy baseball experts will evaluate the Oakland Athletics signing outfielder Emil Brown to a one year, $1.45 million contract.
