If anybody has watched the last two Kings games they know that Artest and the Kings just don't fit together anymore. Some may say his problems were just due to the fact he was so amped up to play Detroit and his old team the Indiana Pacers. I disagree. He's again becoming our very only Cuttino Mobley of 2005 aka A GIGANTIC BLACK HOLE. Everytime anyone passes it to him the best chance they will have to get the ball back is attempt to get the offensive rebound when he bricks a 26 foot fadeaway three. Actually half the time he passes it, it leads to turnovers because the rest of the team is truly stunned that the ball is coming their way. I've always been kind of weary of trading Artest to the Knicks because damn near every player on the Knicks has some kind of mental disorder but i think the Artest for David Lee deal could really work out well for the Kings. Artest has recently said that "you can bet your house on me opting out" so we might as well try to get something of value from him before he leaves on us and/or blows up the western half of the United States. It would also help to get a guy like Lee on our bench to finally bury Kenny Thomas to the depths of the DNP-CD's and have a nice core PF unit of Moore and Lee. Either way we are going to be a muck this offseason if we attempt to sign Beno AND our first round draft pick. I'll see if i can make any salary cap noise in ESPN's trade generator thing.
