B-Ball, B-Fast is a weekdaily look at last night's NBA action from a fantasy perspective. Bookmark it and visit often.

Nothing "mellow" about it for Carmelo Anthony's fantasy owners who stayed up late to watch a Kobe Bryant-Carmelo shootout in Los Angeles last night, as Carmelo landed on Kobe's foot in the second quarter. Cheryl Miller reported at half that x-rays were negative, but Carmelo would miss the rest of the night. So no need to freak out too badly. Let's get very hypothetical here and assume the injury is bad -- Linas Kleiza (he of the 41 point outburst last week) would see an immediate boost in value and playing time. Allen Iverson would actually see an interesting shift in value because he would score more but have to shoot more (meaning lower percentage numbers) in the process. Anthony Carter would likely see more assists trickle down.
