  • Up until last year when he signed with the Dodgers, Mike Lieberthal was the longest tenured athlete in Philadelphia. Now, he has just announced his retirement. Adios, Lieby. [The 700 Level]
  • Phillies (finest) beatwriter, Todd Zolecki is a Milwaukee native. Before this year, Geoff Jenkins played his whole career in Milwaukee. It was only a matter of time before an interview took place. [Inquirer]
  • Did the Phillies make an offer to any of the Japanese pitchers available this offseason? Jason Weitzel has your answer. [Beerleaguer]
  • And finally, if you are lucky enough to be in Arizona next week for the Super Bowl, two of my bestest friends moved out there a few years ago and opened up a cheesesteak joint.
