• One of my all-time favorite Phils was the right fielder with Tourette’s, Jim Eisenreich. I was 14 at the time, so I don’t know how “PC” this is, but everytime he hit a homer, I’d yell, “Tick… Tick… BOOM!” Anyway, someone uploaded a 10:42 video of the guy on YouTube that’s worth checking out. • Up until last year when he signed with the Dodgers, Mike Lieberthal was the longest tenured athlete in Philadelphia. Now, he has just announced his retirement. Adios, Lieby. [The 700 Level]

• Phillies (finest) beatwriter, Todd Zolecki is a Milwaukee native. Before this year, Geoff Jenkins played his whole career in Milwaukee. It was only a matter of time before an interview took place. [Inquirer]
