It's Super Bowl week, which means we're suddenly supposed to care what every celebrity in America thinks about football. And, although I usually don't care, Adam Sandler and Rob Schneider actually were somewhat interesting on ESPN's Mike Tirico show, outside the Phoenix Convention Center:
Tirico and Scott Van Pelt asked Rob Schneider to describe Bill Belichick, and Schneider replied with one word, "cheater." Adam Sandler said even he doesn't think he could make Belichick laugh.
But then Schneider actually made an interesting observation when asked to name his favorite Super Bowl snapshot. Most people would have chosen, I think, a highlight-reel touchdown or an MVP performance. Schneider, however, chose Don Beebe catching Leon Lett from behind in Super Bowl XXVII. As far as Super Bowl commentary from celebrities goes, that's not bad.Permalink | Email this | Comments
