He opens up with apologies galore - the Yankees, fans, kids, etc. 'I never want a young person to do what I did.' Then, he mentions the elbow issues that plagued his career. 'I did this to try and get off the DL and do my job. I'm sorry for the mistakes I made.' He sounded depressed for having to involve his father.

He's taking questions now - but he said he can't answer all of them for legal reasons. There's some sniffling and wiping of the eyes.

Q: Have you talked to Roger?
A: We have not talked.

Q: Did you watch the hearings, when Roger said you misremembered, how did you react?
A: I did not watch … I didn't want to watch it. I had to testify, I testified under oath, and Roger said what he had to say. That's all I can really say about that.
